TECHNOLOGY
Inside the ACS, a digitally controlled relay matrix switches between all amps and cabs. The switching procedure is timed and controlled by a microcontroller for fast, precise and reliable switching. A special mute circuit removes any clicks and pops during switching -the switching process is more silent than most amp’s channel switching! Advanced shielding techniques are used inside the ACS to shield the sensitive input lines from the powerful output lines.
COMPATIBILITY
The KHE ACS is compatible with all types of amplifiers and load devices, such as tube amps, solid-state amps, speaker cabinets, load boxes and power attenuators, up to 150 watts per channel. It works beautifully from sparkling clean sounds to ripping high-gain tones!
SAFETY FEATURES
Load Resistors - All amps are connected to a dummy load resistor to protect the power amps. All unused amps get muted at their inputs, so no signals can reach the power amp.
Load Detection - Cabinet jacks are supervised for a speaker cabinet or load box. If no load is connected, the cabinet outputs are automatically locked and excluded from the switching operation.
This ensures amplifiers can never be activated without a real load connected.
No Cab? No Amp! A clever digital switching logic makes sure no invalid combination is possible: If no load is activated, you can not enable an amplifier.
